Just in case you wanted to download the classic Fallout games from Steam, you might have to wait a little while. Why? Because they've disappeared.

According to an article on Kotaku, the games were taken down due to a legal issue. Apparently, when Bethesda was awarded control of the Fallout franchise, previous owners Interplay were still allowed to sell the classic titles until Dec. 31, 2013. As a result of it having passed that date, the games have been taken down from the Steam catalog.

Whether or not they'll reappear on Good Old Games, purveyors of classic games, is another story. But for now, it seems like our best bet of seeing these Fallout games again lies with Bethesda and Steam.
