The God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta has gone live for the lucky Rise of the Warrior players who were gifted with beta access codes.

Wii-U owners are apparently hard up for some punishment, judging by the start of a petition to get Dark Souls 2 onto Nintendo's newest console.

Dark Souls 2 is on its way and with it comes a bevy of screenshots from the new trailer. The original Dark Souls was a tough, sob-inducing test of will that left many a sadistic player weeping openly, and its sequel looks to do the same.

Talk about hardcore. The main character can't even avoid getting trounced in the trailer for Dark Souls 2. Yikes.

The third episode of the behind-the-scenes series, Unchained, gives us a continued look at God of War: Ascension's Desert of Lost Souls.
