Blizzard has launched Patch 6.0.2: The Iron Tide for World of Warcraft as its subscriptions are higher than they have been in recent years.

Activision has announced that World of Warcraft is back up to 7.4 million subscribers, which is the highest number of WoW accounts active since the MMORPG's prime back in the Wraith of the Lich King days. Of course, this high amount of subscription rates coincide with the anticipation of the Warlords of Draenor expansion set to debut next month.

Patch 6.0.2 includes the Iron Horde Incursion World Event in the Blasted Lands, along with the new Upper Blackrock Spire dungeon. Also, the game's new Race Models have been added. Expect a bunch of new interface, character and class changes along with this update. We're most excited to finally have a Toy Box for all the fun, cosmetic items filling up our bag space.

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor will launch on Nov. 13 for PC.
