Thief Trailer Teases April 2nd Reveal

Eidos has released a trailer for the world's greatest candle-snuffing simulator, Thief.

Once again a company has taken the tiny trailer route to promote a bigger, longer trailer to follow it up. It's a rather tedious exercise, but at least we now know Eidos will be unveiling more information about it's next-gen Thief on April 2nd.

The footage below is apparently rendered in-engine, and to be fair, we haven't seen candles put out that realistically in any game we've played to date. Hopefully the full trailer will have a little more substance, and actual gameplay to show, instead of just being another collection of assets that aren't wholly indicative of the final product.

Anyway, check out the trailer below, and prepare to be amazed by how stunning the candle flame is before it is pinched out.
