Geralt of Rivia turns a lakeside encounter with a beautiful redhead to an unforgettable night in a barn during this trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The video above contains partial nudity that may be considered NSFW.

In this cinematic trailer, we watch Geralt of Rivia, the legendary monster hunter, approach a pretty woman near a cliff overlooking a lake. The woman starts singing a song, to which Geralt replies that it's a very old tune, appearing from the darkness behind the girl. We start to realize that the woman isn't what she appears to be, as Geralt was hired by the townspeople to kill her. The woman then disrobes, giving viewers a quick glimpse of a corner of a nipple, before disappearing (Predator-style) and heading into a barn. Geralt then drinks a potion before entering, which seems to hurt him immensely and cause his nose to bleed.

The barn appears to be empty, but Geralt's eyes reflect a dark change. He then throws a bottle of what appears to be silver nitrate into a corner of the room, which makes the invisible foe less ethereal to the eyes. After the explosion, the fight begins. Watching the vampire bite Geralt and drink his blood makes things seem like the end, until we realize that the potion he drank poisoned his blood for the woman to ingest. This trailer reminds us of everything we love about The Witcher, including the thrill of the hunt, its bizarre, mythological beasts and the badassery of Geralt. Luckily, Geralt eventually finishes the fight, heads to town to cash his check and presumably moves on to the next bounty.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will launch on May 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
