A new video for The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct shows us some behind the scenes footage of Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker voicing their characters, Daryl and Merle Dixon.

The game takes place before the events in Atlanta and follows the Dixon boys on their journey through the zombie apocalypse.

Norman Reedus explains his delighted shock at learning that Activision wanted to center Survival Instinct on his character, Daryl Dixon. He says that Daryl's a pretty interesting character and that he's thrilled to be a part of it.

Michael Rooker, who plays big brother Merle, corrects everyone by saying that his on-screen little brother's name is spelled "Derle" and blows our minds more than any zombie invasion could.

Both actors seem to be pretty in-tune with their characters' energies and can transfer them pretty effectively to the video game, although Reedus sometimes needs someone to explain what his character is doing at the moment. His delivery, however, always seems to be pretty good.

The game will be released on March 19th, 2013 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. And as Michael Rooker said, "Merle and Daryl in a game -- what can be better than that?"

Watch the video below and let us know if you'll be shooting up zeds with the Dixon boys!
