Bethesda officially announced the Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Legendary Edition on Thursday, revealing U.S. gamers would be able to pick up the whole shebang on June 4th.
Per Kotaku, Bethesda has submitted a video game named Endless Summer which, according to the Australian Classification Board, is rated MA15+ for, "strong horror themes and violence."
Even though Bethesda isn't creating any more new content for Skryim, that doesn't mean the publisher isn't keen on providing a compilation of the core game and all its downloadable content.
Bethesda has confirmed today that Skyrim development has officially ceased. There will be no more downloadable content released and no more patches made. Instead, the studio will be moving on to a brand new project, which most have presumed to be Fallout 4.
A while back, we heard tell that Bethesda was not satisfied with Human Head’s work on Prey 2. Rumors and leaks have put the game solidly in a state of limbo, and no one really has spent the time to talk about it or its eventual fate. However, it looks as if Bethesda’s parent company Zenimax isn’t willing to give up on the IP just yet.
Is Bethesda leaving the lands of Skyrim and journeying forth into outer space, the great unknown? A recent trademark application dredged up by Gamespot says this may be the case.
