Ragnarok Odyssey Ace Gets Dated

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, the re-release of Ragnarok Odyssey with all of the downloadable content available from the start, new enemies, and new locations, has finally been dated according to Destructoid. The game is set to come out on July 11^th, 2013 in Japan.

Of course, that doesn’t mean much to you if you don’t live in Japan but fear not! We will get a chance to play the critically acclaimed action-RPG here in the States as well. GungHo Online Entertainment, the game’s developer, has confirmed that a western release of the game will be coming at some point in 2013, though they couldn’t say when. Likely, we will see it hit sometime during the Holiday season.

The original Ragnarok Odyssey released on October 30^th, 2012 and is a spinoff of the popular international MMO, Ragnarok Online. Unlike RO, which is mostly a sprite based game, Ragnarok Odyssey is fully polygonal, showing a completely different view on one of the longest running MMOs on the internet.
