Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai Star Wars Figures Look Amazing
Square Enix has some pretty amazing Play Arts Kai figures, which are joined by new, unique takes on some iconic Star Wars characters.
We've been digging many of Square Enix's Play Arts Kai figures and these new takes on Darth Vader, Boba Fett and the Stormtrooper are no expection. Thanks to Kotaku, we got a look at these impressive figures, which deviate a bit from the standard looks we associate to these unforgettable Star Wars characters but still keep their spirits intact. You can check out the pictures of the figures below, but each of these figures has a unique air of battleworn badassery.
Each of the figures are extremely detailed. You can see all the dedicated painting that went on in making these figures. Every figure also has different attachable parts. The Stormtrooper has an attachable bullet explosion as well as a variety of accessories. The other two figures also have the same kind of attachments — Boba Fett has a semi-transparent fire spewer as well as fire coming out of his jet pack and Darth Vader has an aura coming from his hand as well as a lightsaber that shows the effect of him swinging it, which looks quite badass.
There aren't many details out about the figures yet, but we do know that the Darth Vader figure will be out in May while you'll have to wait a little longer for the Stormtrooper and Boba Fett figures, which will come out in July at Square Enix's official store. They will all be priced out at $109 each.
