There's a demo for Insomniac's Fuse available today on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and to celebrate, EA released a new trailer for the upcoming multiplayer shooter.

Four characters from different backgrounds were drawn together by one man to do some very dirty work. At least they'll have some impressive weaponry at their disposal. Fuse is the first multi-platform game from Insomniac, who previously worked exclusively for Sony on franchises like Ratchet and Clank and Resistance: Fall of Man. Those games were known for their weapons just as much as their characters and stories, so it should come as no surprise that Fuse looks to follow the same vein.

The demo out today will allow you to play offline or online with a few friends, and gives you but a mere glimpse at the full experience. This latest gameplay trailer does a nice job showing you the characters, weapons, and abilities present in the game, but it's not clear just how much of these features will be in the demo.

Check out the video, the download the demo, and let us know what you think about Fuse.
