‘Dead Rising: Watchtower’ Launches for Free on Crackle

Your other favorite Capcom zombie game has been given the Hollywood treatment as 'Dead Rising: Watchtower' launches for free.

According to Destructoid, you can now watch 'Dead Rising: Watchtower' for free on Crackle. You can only watch it from a Crackle-compatible device, which includes smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, set-top boxes, gaming consoles (sorry, Nintendo loses another one) and PC, but we all know you're already reading this article from one of those already. The movie comes in at just under two hours of action-packed, zombie-fighting fun and stars Rob Riggle as Frank West. Other actors and actresses include Dennis Haysbert, Virginia Madsen, Meghan Ory and Jesse Metcalfe (yes, from John Tucker Must Die), who almost all have more screen time than Riggle.

You can check out 'Dead Rising: Watchtower' now on Crackle, but make sure you have that ad-blocker turned on because there are at least 10 different commercial breaks that you'll have to sit through without it. Surprisingly, the movie itself isn't all that bad. You can expect your standard variety of idiots getting eaten, people ruining things for everybody, normal people turning psychotic and a reluctant hero. Most people think that, for a B movie, it's still pretty entertaining. There's no better judge than yourself, and it's not like it costs anything, so you might as well watch it and keep an eye out for Servbots. At least it's not that godawful House of the Dead movie.
