Dead Or Alive 5 Plus Screens Give Vita Owners a Reason to Cheer

Dead or Alive 5 PLUS is coming soon for the PlayStation Vita. Team Ninja has just released a batch of new screenshots showing some of the new outfits that some characters can wear.

And yes, these are all cheerleader outfits with "I'm a Fighter" slapped across the chests. We guess they're there to remind gamers that they're playing a fighting game, just in case they end up just staring blankly at their screens for inordinate amount of time.

The Vita's PLUS version will include a Touch Fight mode that will let players fight just by using simple swipes and taps on the handheld's touchscreen, letting gamers get all touchy-feely with the game. Players will be able to hone their touch-fighting skills in the Free Training and Command Training modes, which allow them to get their timing just right for combos.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus is set for release in North America on March 19th, 2013, so get your Vitas ready for the rumbles!
