Cross-Control Play Coming to LittleBigPlanet 2

Next Tuesday, LittleBigPlanet 2 will be getting the Cross-Control pack, making it the first game to receive the ability to use the Vita as a controller for a PlayStation 3 title.

The PlayStation Blog revealed the news, along with more details about what the downloadable content pack will include. With the ability to control LBP2 with the Vita, players will be able to make use of the touchpad and touchscreen controls. The Vita will also display all the action happening on the big screen on its display as well. Of course, there will also be new levels included with the DLC, which features Sackboy traveling to space to find the treasures of the cosmos. The missions will incorporate the new Vita controls specifically.

Set to arrive on December 18th, the Cross-Control pack will be available in the PlayStation Store for $4.99. Check out some screenshots of the new levels below, and let us know if you'll be getting the new content.
