2K and Firaxis Games have announced a new expansion for Sid Meier's Civilization 5, which will introduce nine new civilizations including Poland.

Dubbed "Brave New World," this expansion will arrive for both PC and Mac later this summer. In addition to adding new civilizations and leaders, there will also be new cultural aspects, and will even feature the new Cultural Victory.

International trade routes are coming as well, which will allow you to trade by land and sea. This aspect will include a risk/reward feature with longer, more dangerous routes paying out bigger dividends, and closer, safer routes not being as valuable.

Eight new wonders like the Parthenon, Broadway, and the Uffizi will be joining in on the action. There will also be new game scenarios like the American Civil War to keep you busy. Fortunately there will also be a new World Congress added, which will oversee critical issues like implementing trade sanctions against rogue nations, limiting resource usage, deciding who gets to use nuclear weapons.

You can check out some screenshots of the new Polish faction below, and let us now if you'll be returning to the game when the new expansion arrives in the comments.
