It seems that Apple is taking its gaming-oriented customers into consideration with a recent patent that has surfaced that would give its iPhones a joystick.

IGN reports that Apple has been thinking up a redesign to at least one part of its iPhones --the home button. Until Touch ID, the home button has always been just a static button with only a few uses. However, after looking at some patents that Apple has been trying to get approved, it seems that it might be looking to transform its home button into something completely different, like a joystick.

Apple's touchscreen sensitivity is pretty great, but for little things there's nothing better than being able to control a joystick. In Clash of Clans, how am I ever supposed to move my walls when my humongous finger is covering not only it, but six spaces around it? It seems the joystick will be easily accessible with just a push inwards. Hopefully it will come out with the newest version of the iPhone and fix all of our mobile gaming woes.

For now well just have to wait and see if the patent, originally created in July 2013, will go anywhere or if it's all just a dream.
