Angry Birds Epic Trailer: Turn-Based Bird Combat is Here

Prepare for a battle with spells and swords, folks. Here's the first gameplay trailer for Angry Birds Epic, Rovio's next Angry Birds venture.

This next game will feature turn-based combat in a fantasy version of Piggy Island. You'll finally get to play with all of your favorite birds and dastardly piggies in a role-playing game-inspired mobile title with a fantasy-fueled narrative, lots of weapons and a ton of items to use in battle.

You can join characters like Red the Knight, Chuck the Mage and Bomb (the unannounced third member of the party) as they face off against villains like King Pig, Wiz Pig and Prince Porky. There will be weapons to collect, equipment to upgrade and lots of hats to wear. Check out the official site to explore the Piggy Island map and to meet the characters. Angry Birds Epic is now available for iOS in Australia, Canada and New Zealand, with other countries to follow.
