Put on “Endless Love” and Watch Happy Gilmore in 8-Bit

The folks at CineFix have now given the Adam Sandler film, ‘Happy Gilmore,’ the 8-bit treatment. It is glorious.

The entire video has an aesthetic reminiscent of River City Ransom and features a lot of the major parts of the movie. If you’re familiar with all of the movie’s jokes, then you’ll appreciate most of the scenes featured in the video.

The only thing they were really missing is when Shooter McGavin said he eats pieces of s— like Happy for breakfast and when Happy yells at the golf ball to go in the hole, claiming it thinks it’s too good for its home. Classic Adam Sandler hilarity ensues nonetheless.

It would have been cool to hear an 8-bit version of “Endless Love” while Happy and Virginia were having their date on the ice, but it’s still pretty solid. Check it out above.
