Original TV Series ‘Powers’ Coming to PSN, Free For PS Plus Subscribers

Sony reaffirmed its commitment to developing original programming for PlayStation gamers tonight during their E3 2014 press briefing by announcing production on ‘Powers.’ ‘Powers’ will be an original TV series based on the comics by¬†Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming.

Brian Michael Bendis appeared on stage to announce that production is underway on the series and that fans can expect casting announcements and previews throughout the summer.

‘Powers’ tells the story of two homicide detectives, Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, who are assigned to investigate cases involving people with supernatural abilities.

The first episode of ‘Powers’ will be available to all PlayStation owners in December. It was also announced that the entire series will be available to stream to PlayStation Plus subscribers for free.
