Ambrella's freemium Pokemon title, Pokemon Rumble World, has come to the Nintendo 3DS via the Nintendo eShop and has 719 Pocket Monsters for you to catch and battle.

Pokemon Rumble World has come to the Nintendo 3DS and with it, a staggering 719 Pocket Monsters are coming along for the ride (we know, that sounds dirty). In all seriousness, it's hard to think that we went from 150 to 719 (there's still a lot more than that), since we first heard about the franchise 19 years ago. These 719 "pokey-mans" will include Primal Reversions and Mega Evolutions to make the game a bit more interesting. The game's trailer, which you can check out above, promises fast-paced battles, super-exploding Pokemon evolutions, the ability to team up with your favorite Mii character and the ability to raise your adventure rank by collecting (you guessed it) Pokemon. Where the freemium part of the game comes in is with Poke Diamonds that you can either earn in the game or buy with real money.

If you're wondering how, exactly, the Poke Diamonds will be used in game... well, it's not exactly anything too ingenuitive. It will work the same way that diamonds, or the premium money, works in almost any other freemium game — it will get you important stuff instantly instead of making you wait. It will also be like Clash of Clans where you will be able to earn your diamonds not only through spending your hard earned money, but also throughout the games (likely at an extremely slower rate to the point where you'll just want to buy it). Plus, there is a ton of stuff to do while you're waiting for your timers to be done, so the pull of buying Poke Diamonds may not be as bad as Clash of Clans where you sometimes have to wait over a week for one of your structures to upgrade. Talk about a snooze fest.

If you're excited to catch all 719 Pokemon in a new gameplay format, you can get Pokemon Rumble World now for free on the 3DS eShop.
