An update on YouTube Creator's blog runs down some of the new features that will be added to the video streaming service for YouTubers.

The blog post lists the features coming to YouTube for creators, like a YouTube Creator Studio app that tracks analytics and manage your content via iOS and Android devices. For gamers and YouTubers who upload gameplay footage, support will be launched for 48 and 60 frames per second videos.

Creators will also be able to collect donations directly from their channels, should their viewers decide to offer their own funds. According to the post, YouTube will "be adding another option for you, where fans will be able to contribute money to support your channel at any time, for any reason." The feature is being tested now across a handful of channels, including Sou Pancake, The Young Turks and Thug Notes.

Both of these features should be a boon for anyone on YouTube who enjoys watching and uploading video game content. Check the link above for the full list of features being offered to creators.
