Nintendo released a trailer for Hyrule Warriors during their E3 2014 digital press briefing, giving us a first look at gameplay and what players can expect from the action hack-and-slash game.
Hyrule Warriors is a spin-off of The Legend of Zelda series and is an action battle game similar to Dynasty Warriors, but with characters and creatures from the Zelda games. There will be a weapons upgrade system in which the user can customize over the course of the game.
Players can control Link or Princess Zelda, or might opt to play as Impa or Midna. The game will utilize the Zelda series' Z-targeting system, so a player can dodge attacks and focus on enemy weak spots.
