Battle Nations, MetalStorm and Trade Nations Receive iOS6 Updates
With the recent release of iOS6 and the new iPhone 5 coming out this week, developers are starting to update their apps to take advantage of the software's new features. Z2Live just updated three of their games with new features for iOS6.
Let's take a look at their updates for Battle Nations, MetalStorm: Wingman and Trade Nations. best thing about all three games? They're free!
Here's what's new in the 2.2 update for Battle Nations:
- iOS 6: Battle Nations takes advantage of amazing new iOS 6 features! Take on your friends in a test of who's best with Game Center Challenges for Achievements, and seamlessly share with your Facebook, Twitter, and Sina Weibo friends and followers!
- Battle Nations has been updated to support the new iPhone 5 and new iPod Touch resolution. More pixels, more destruction!
- OS X: Earn Game Center Achievements when you play Battle Nations on your Mac!
- New Units: Multiple new units join the fight, including The Dragon, The Basilisk, and some Young Critters sure to tear you apart, limb by limb, in the cutest way possible!
- Unit Promotion: You'll be able to continue training and improving the skills of your Units, as they can now reach Rank 6!
- New Resources: The Empire has discovered a few new, ultra rare and precious resources: Laurels, Widgets, Necklaces, and Powder!
- Animal Trainer: We've tweaked the Animal Trainer so that it no longer requires Teeth to construct. But, you'll want to continue to earn Teeth so as to upgrade this building. Also, you'll be able to train the new Young Critters at Level One. And finally, the SANDWORM RETURNS! Train these bad boys to fight for you.
- Vials: In 2.2, you'll be battling for control over the coveted resources in your Chemical Lab and Chemical Storage Facilities. Prepare your defenses to protect these resources, and your troops to invade and occupy to drain your friends' supplies!
- XP & SP Buffs: Purchase new, global buffs that will increase the amount of XP and SP that you earn! You'll find these in the Build Menu.
- PvP Rebalance: We've adjusted and rebalanced unit values so that you're getting into more evenly matched PvP battles.
- New Buildings: There are multiple new buildings in this update, including Morgan's House, Zoey's Toolshop, the Frontier Butcher, and the Refinement Facility!
- New Boss Encounter: 2.2 has a brand new Boss Encounter in an entirely new Land. Beat him and earn a very big surprise!
MetalStorm: Wingman received some iOS6 updates as well:
- iOS 6: MetalStorm takes advantage of amazing new iOS 6 features! Take on your friends in a test of the best with Game Center Challenges, and seamlessly share with your Facebook, Twitter, and Sina Weibo friends and followers!
- MetalStorm: Wingman has been updated to support the new iPhone 5 and new iPod Touch resolution! Flying the skies has never looked so good!
