Hot on the heels of the announcement of Yo-Kai Watch's Western release is the reveal that the next installment will be an homage to Ghostbusters.

Ghostbusters News reports that if you love Pokemon and you love Ghostbusters, then you'll love the next installment of Yo-Kai Watch that features cute kitties taking on mischievous spirits in Ghostbusters getups. There will be two different versions of the game to choose from: Yo-Kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team and White Dog Squad. While there's no western release set yet, there is a Japanese release coming soon. We have a feeling this won't get a Western release until Level-5 sees the profit of the first game, which will be coming to North America this fall. If you're clutching your hearts and wondering why the game wouldn't be coming to the country with the admitted obsession of the movie it is inspired by, don't get too upset — we're almost positive it'll be heading West unless Sony swings the legal hammer at it for its Venkman-inspired farce.

While you can check out the video above to get a general feel of what the game will have to offer, you can also play the original version of Yo-Kai Watch when it comes out this fall in North America. In the original Yo-Kai, the storyline features a very familiar plot, where a boy gets a special watch that lets him capture and summon Yo-Kai spirits to fight other ones, Pokemon style.

Yo-Kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team & White Dog Squad will hit Japanese shelves when it launches for 3DS on July 11.
