Since the release of World of Warcraft's newest expansion pack, Warlords of Draenor, we've seen a steady trickle of new raids for players to test their mettle in. Patch 6.1 brings an onslaught of new content, including a new feature so insidious no WoW player is prepared... selfies.

Firstly, we have the upgraded Heirloom system, making it easier than ever to level your alts. All Heirloom gear you acquire will be automatically sifted to a tab, much like your pet, toy, and mount tabs, and you can use it on any character on your account. Plus, now you can upgrade many of your Heirlooms far beyond their original leveling limits, giving you those sweet XP bonuses all the way up to maximum level.

Next up we've got some social network integration in the form of Twitter and the dreaded (and hotly anticipated) selfies. With a special "S.E.L.F.I.E" camera players can snap shots of their heroes making ridiculous duck faces in the most dangerous places in Azeroth, earning sweet achievement points as they do it. Once you've taken a pic with your new bestie Illidan, you can tweet about it through the entirely optional Twitter integration.

The Blood Elves are finally receiving their day in the updating sun, receiving the same diligent graphical overhaul the other WoW races received when Warlords of Draenor launched. It's a bit odd how much junk the lady night elves have in their trunks while the fellas' backseats are as flat as surfboards. Is the World of Warcraft not a world of equally bootylicious bum-bums?

With new garrison content, a continuation of the Khadgar's legendary questline, an expanded Darkmoon Fair, and more, 6.1's shaping up to be a whopper of an update.

Patch 6.1 is set to arrive Feb. 24.
