10 Weirdest Game Endings

Dr. Mario starts off our list of the 10 Weirdest Game Endings because those talented enough to beat this historic puzzler were shocked to find its evil viruses were actually aliens from space.

Your party finds out that their entire galaxy is simply a computer simulation and that everyone in it is a part of "4D Space" (which is kind of like a giant MMORPG). Star Ocean 3's ending consists of a huge philosophical debate the characters have after retaining consciousness when all of 4D Space was deleted.

Limbo of the Lost may have plagiarized a ton of its content, but its ending proved that Majestic Studios were capable of something... original, to say the least.

Much of No More Heroes' plot revolved around Travis' half sister, Jeane, bestowing her revenge on Travis for having to face her father's sexual abuse all by her lonesome. But the ending of NMH hints that the entire story was simply the random thoughts of a child (named Jeane, of course).

In its ending, Conker called out that Rare did not fully beta-test Bad Fur Day, so they rewrote the story mid-ending and allowed him to become king. Unfortunately, they forgot one huge detail.

This ending to Drakengard must have been the prequel to Attack on Titan. Nevertheless, giant cannibal babies evolving into free-floating, empowered forms is a perfect halfway point for a list of the 10 Weirdest Game Endings.

The Silent Hill franchise is known for having its fair share of weird, but its ongoing UFO endings are probably some of the series' most kooky moments.

You find out that everything is either a lie or an A.I. simulation, society is run by a group of Illuminati-like controllers named The Patriots (who are all dead), a nuclear-equipped submersible fortress crashes onto Manhattan, and you fight the President of the United States atop Federal Hall. Oh, and he fights you with Doc-Ock arms and samurai swords to boot. WTF?

Alma repeatedly freaked us out throughout the F.E.A.R. series, but it isn't until the rape scenes of F.E.A.R. 2's ending that we were the most disturbed. Getting strapped into a chair and seduced by this previously-dead Psionic tops our list of the 10 Weirdest Game Endings.
