Warcraft’s Lords of War Part Three Recounts Durotan’s Tale
The Lords of War series continues as it introduces us to more of the characters we'll see in the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion.
In this installment of the series, we're treated to the tale of Durotan, the young Frostwolf Orc who would one day become the father of Thrall, Warchief of the Horde. In this story, we're shown how the Frostwolf Clan prided itself on being able to control the rage within and suppress the bloodlust that turned many other orcs into ferocious beasts.
We see how his mother took ill after being bitten by a drift lurker and how his brother suggested that they just abandon her, lest the rest of the clan get trapped by the encroaching winter and starve to death.
Rather than leave his mother, Durotan stays with her and helps defend her against some of Draenor's most feared creatures: giant wolves known as the garn.
In his bid to keep his mother alive, he makes certain mistakes that he vows never to make again. We won't spoil what happens, but definitely watch the video above to get more of an insight into the orc that fathered the Warchief.
Perhaps we'll see him side with the Horde against the Iron Horde in Warlords of Draenor, which comes out on Nov. 13, 2014 for PC.
