Everything is coming up indie these days. Skullgirls is getting new characters. Torment and Ultimate are getting spiritual sequels. Now, the magic of crowdfunding is letting us control videogames with our brain. Our brain!!!

Throw Trucks With Your Mind has raised over $40,000 on Kickstarter. The game, developed by Lat Ware, allows you to … appropriately enough … throw trucks with your mind. It’s a multiplayer game that uses the Neuro Sky MindWave headset as its input device. The headset reads your brains electrical activity and this is then translated into actions on the screen. So if you want to throw a truck at your enemy, all you have to do is think it.

The game will have a focus on environmental manipulation but the characters won’t be using their arms. Instead, they will pick up and move objects with psychic abilities. Combat in the game is also handled through telekinetically moving objects around you. Currently, the game supports up to 32 players, all picking up and throwing objects with their mind at the same time.

The game currently runs on Windows XP/Mac OS X 10.5.x and up. So, essentially, any modern day computer setup could handle it. While Lat Ware would love to get the game on consoles, they aren’t particularly equipped to handle the MindWave’s neural interface. So for now, Throw Trucks With Your Mind is a PC exclusive. Maybe it will get a better chance on the PS4 and the Next Box.
