The Powerpuff Girls Will Debut on Steam Next Week

Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup return in this Metroid/Castlevania-like mash-up of superpowers.

The daughters of Professor Utonium are back in an a brand-new, side-scrolling, Powerpuff Girls adventure. The Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville has appeared on the Steam Store, and we're getting ready to play as our favorite mini-superheroes. It's been far too long since we seen this pint-sized trio take on the maniacal forces of Mojo Jojo.

Each of the girls will have unique superpowers that will help traverse and explore its massive, Metroid-esque map. You will be able to use heat vision, destroy enemies with your super strength and leave a trail of color in whatever direction you fly.

The Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville is due for a PC release on March 14 via Steam.
