Telltale Games' harsh story of survival in the undead apocalypse will continue in The Walking Dead: Season Three but not this year. Luckily, the team at Telltale still has some surprises in the works.

Telltale Games' director of PR, Job Stauffer, has hit the world with a grim fact: Season Three of The Walking Dead will not be starting in 2015. We should note that Season Two's first episode, 'All That Remains,' debuted back in Dec. 2013. We last left Clementine and the gang in 'No Going Back,' which debuted in Aug. 2014. The last episode (spoilers ahead) gave us a total of five different endings we could have had, each with AJ and Clementine surviving near Howe's Hardware. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse between Jane and Kenny, depending on your decisions.

"To re-clarify, no, TWD S3 is *not* starting in 2015. But what I am seeing this week will be, and it is insanely cool. Stay close, news soon," Stauffer tweeted. "Alright. No more WD teasing on Twitter until E3. Simply put, no S3 this year, but WD fans are still getting something major in 2015."

We have a feeling Stauffer was alluding to another piece of DLC that will bridge the gap between the last season and the next, much like the '400 Days' content did a couple years ago. Nevertheless, Telltale Games is working on other major projects, as it recently announced a partnership with Marvel to start releasing games with the superhero company starting in 2017. E3 is just a few weeks away, and we can't wait to see what Telltale Games will be bringing to the table.
