Epic’s Gears of War franchise has been a landmark series for the Xbox 360. When the third game in the trilogy proper closed out the story of Marcus and the COG’s war against the Locust, many wondered where the series would go next.

Savvy players have discovered the popular multiplayer game type Warzone still exists on Gears of War: Judgment's disc despite not being part of the game whatsoever.

According to Gamestop, Yager, the developer behind the critically acclaimed Spec Ops: The Line, has just signed a deal with Epic Games to license their Unreal Engine 4 for a next generation title.

The next Gears of War sequel is out next week, and Epic has some protagonists it wants you to meet.

Epic Games has revealed a new multiplayer skin for Gears of War: Judgment which will be available to select members of the Gears community and dev team only.

Mike Capps, former Epic Games president, recently stepped down from his position in order to take an active but reduced role in the company. Now it appears as if his role will be far more reduced than he first thought.

An unlockable campaign titled Aftermath will be available for Gears of War: Judgment, and it will detail Baird and Cole's journey to find reinforcements and supplies at the end of Gears of War 3. During their mission they encounter Garron Paduk, a character featured in Gears of War: Judgment.

Epic's Gears of War: Judgment will be getting the Season Pass treatment, but this time around there are added bonuses making the deal that much more enticing.
