Sniper Elite V2 Sets Sights on Wii U

Retailers have posted listings for both a European and U.S. release for Sniper Elite V2 on the Wii U this May.

Eurogamer spotted the listings on both Gamestop and Amazon, which both advertise a Wii U port of the military sniper shooter. The two sites have different dates, giving some credence to the separate region releases.

Gamestop indicated a May 24th release date (Europe), while Amazon is taking orders to be fulfilled on May 21st (U.S.). Only Gamestop has any box art for the supposed port. For its part, Rebellion has not officially announced a Wii U port as of yet.

Do you plan on checking out the Wii U version? Possibly sniping with the GamePad may provide some life into the standard shooting formula.
