This latest trailer for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survival 2 Record Breaker focuses on the Macca demonic currency system, which is pivotal in bidding during Demon Auctions.

Atlus has unleashed a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker. While we've been dying to see more of the actual gameplay, this trailer satiates our needs a bit. The video focuses on Macca, the money system of Record Breaker, which you'll use to bid in Demon Auctions. Demon Auctions will let you get new minions on your roster by buying them (you can only get new ones by purchasing them or fusing them together). Of course, fusing them reduces your numbers for the sake of finding a better, rarer monster, so you'll need the Demon Auction to replenish your roster as you go on. As you would expect, the more stars attached to demon's rating, the better skills and stats it has, and the more expensive it is. Just bid strategically, as you won't be the only person in the game trying to get them.

Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker will feature fully voiced English dubs, 100 hours of gameplay, a new character and a ton of new content from the original DS game released four years ago. There will also be a new chapter added that expands on the core story, which you have the option to dive into right away if you don't feel like playing the original game first.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker will launch May 5 on the Nintendo 3DS for the price of $49.99. Pre-ordered and limited launch edition copies of Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker will include composer Shoji Meguro's catchy soundtrack (it is Atlus after all) and a bunch of decals featuring characters and logos from the game.
