Ubisoft's Rayman Legends might have a bit of a contentious relationship with Wii U owners, but the platformer will be getting some exclusive costumes to make up for the long delay.

That's right, Mario and Luigi costumes can be unlocked for Rayman and Globox in Legends. Even better, it will only take a short bit of playtime (20 minutes) to unlock the outfits for use. The costumes don't add any special abilities per se, but they do add a bit more Nintendo personality to the sequel.

Additionally, the Wii U version will feature GamePad play, which enables a fifth person to join in on the fun as Murfy. The GamePad player can help the others playing uncover new paths and secrets, which is similar to the way New Super Mario Bros. U multiplayer worked.

Check out the trailer above, and let us know if these costumes and multiplayer additions are enough to sway you to get the Wii U version of Rayman Legends.
