What happens when two of the most successful video game Kickstarter projects get together? Exclusives.

At DICE, Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman dropped a major surprise about the little Android console that could. According to Kotaku, Uhrman revealed fellow Kickstarter alumnus Double Fine Adventure (codenamed "Reds"), would be exclusive to the Ouya. Well, at least when it came to consoles.

Double Fine Adventure is also being developed for Linux, PC, Mac, iOS, and obviously Android, but as far as other consoles like the PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360, it appears Ouya has a bit of a leg up on the competition. That said, a Double Fine spokesperson did state the Ouya would be the exclusive console at launch, which is a pretty big difference. However, timed exclusivity is part of the promotional game these days, and hearing DFA might eventually find its way onto PSN or XBLA isn't that surprising.

The Ouya is slated to arrive sometime in June for new buyers, and an undisclosed earlier time for Kickstarter backers. Double Fine Adventure still doesn't have a concrete release window.
