Multiverse Studio’s Ninja Gaiden Statue Looks Gory and Awesome
The leading star of the Ninja Gaiden series will be coming to life soon through a ninjitsu-filled statue made by Multiverse Studio.
Multiverse Studio has released photos of its painted Ryu statue inspired by the Ninja Gaiden series. The official name of this piece will be the Ninja Gaiden 3 Ryu Hayabusa Premium Quality Resin Statue, but that won't be the only grand part of this work. Ryu Hayabusa will stand at 13 inches tall in a 1/6 scale figure and will be adorned with his favorite Dragon Sword as well as a deadly kunai. You'd better not get in Ryu's way because he looks just about ready to take on the world, especially with both of his weapons at the ready.
To get into the super awesome details, this statue will be LED lit. Ryu's right arm will be illuminated to reveal the Grip of Murder curse from the Ninja Gaiden 3 storyline. There will also be a few bloodied body parts on the ground that will be illuminated with the same lighting, making for some super cool effects. Because, really, who doesn't want the dismembered body parts of their statue to be illuminated? The statue will give owners the option to power it via AC or USB power cable as well.
You can pre-order the Ninja Gaiden 3 Ryu Hayabusa Premium Quality Resin Statue now at a few different retail outlets, including Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth. The 1/6th statue costs $299.99 and will be available come June 2015.
