Crackdown E3 2014 Trailer: Microsoft, Cloudgine Announce New Game for Xbox One

Original Crackdown creator David Jones appeared on stage at Xbox's E3 2014 press conference to announce and preview the trailer for a new Crackdown game coming to the Xbox One.

The game is currently under development at Cloudgine and is the third in the series after the first two were hits on the Xbox 360.

Crackdown (not a reboot of the original but rather, a whole new game), is set in an open world where players use guns and melee weapons to fight enemies.

The trailer features the familiar voice of the narrator as he represents The Agency, as he issues a threat against the kingpin of the Los Muertos game in Pacific City. We then see some colorful and overtop action sequences that fans have come to expect from the franchise.

Microsoft did not announce a release date for the new Crackdown yet.
