Now that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix has launched in Japan, a new secret movie has been found, which helps hype up Kingdom Hearts 3. Also, the ending credits strongly suggest that an HD version of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is on the way.

Gematsu reports that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix has just launched in Japan and that its secret movie has been found. As with the Final Mix versions of the previous Kingdom Hearts re-releases (which were Japanese exclusives), 2.5 Remix has a secret movie added into it that helps tease the next major entry of the series. This time, we get to see a cutscene involving Young Xehanort and Braig. While the plot of Kingdom Hearts got strangely complicated with all the vague uses of Heart, Light, Keyblade and half-hearts, it's still nice to see Kingdom Hearts finally trying to move forward.

The end credits to 2.5 Remix include scenes from Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, which was a 3DS exclusive that takes place after Kingdom Hearts II. The addition of 3D to the game's credits strongly suggest that fabled HD remake of the game for PS3 is underway.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will launch on Dec. 2 exclusively on PlayStation 3. For those who would like to watch it, we have provided 2.5 Remix's secret movie below (turn on English captions to translate):
