The folks at Irrational Games have heard the vox populi and satiated fans' need for more BioShock Infinite goodness by revealing the game's official box art.

The first glimpse we had concerning any official release for the game was the Songbird Edition, shown at the end of last month's "Beast of America" trailer. But now we're finally seeing how the game will appear in stores, just a few months before release.

The box art in question features Booker DeWitt, the former Pinkerton agent and protagonist of the tale, shouldering a shotgun while looking intensely offscreen. This pose might be par for the course of a video game action hero, but it seems to have caused a bit of a stir among gamers. Love it or hate it, at least you'll know what to look out for on store shelves when the game drops on February 26, 2013.

It should also be noted that PS3 versions of Infinite will come with a copy of the original BioShock game. If that doesn't sweeten the pot, we don't know what will!
