EA Games’ Former President Leaving Company After 20 Years

After more than two decades of employment at the company, longtime executive Frank Gibeau is leaving Electronic Arts.

Polygon reports that EA executive Frank Gibeau is leaving the publishing company after more than 20 years of service. A report filed by EA with the U.S. Securities and Exchange commission revealed Gibeau's departure. His LinkedIn profile reveals that he first signed on with the company back in 1991. Gibeau ascended the ranks over the years, ultimately becoming the President of EA Games and EA Labels. In 2013, he stopped down from these roles and became the Executive Vice President of EA Mobile. Gibeau oversaw a ton of our favorite EA franchises in development, including the Battlefield, Mass Effect, Sims, Need for Speed and Madden NFL series. Shortly before Gibeau became the Executive VP of EA Mobile, Andrew Wilson became the CEO of the company.

As the mobile gaming audience continues its rapid expansion, EA has a tremendous opportunity to deliver amazing entertainment to more players around the world.
