Well, it's time to meet the gang of Insomniac Games' Fuse. Let's check out this colorful array of badasses.

The newest batch of trailers for the team-based sci-fi shooter features brief video portraits of the gang from Overstrike 9. We get snippets of background information and a look at their personalities in these trailers, so we can definitely glean a lot from roughly a minute and half of watching them.

First up is Naya Devereux in a trailer courtesy of Machinima. She's an ex-assassin that can stealthily kill enemies and has a gun that shoots singularities. Naya's also an expert in Close Quarters Combat (CQC), and can devastate an opponent with a quick hurricanrana. Getting up close and personal with her might result in a trip to the ICU.

Then we have a trailer for Dalton Brooks, also thanks to Machinima, which shows us his Magshield in action. This weird gun launches a big screen of cover made out of ferrofluid and can repel/redirect projectiles. If Fuse was a role-playing game, he'd be the armored tank class with a sword and board.

Jacob's trailer comes to us from GameSpot and gives us a look at his Arcshot. Again, if we were using RPG terms, Jacob would be the ranged damage class, like a hunter or a ranger. He can set his foes ablaze with this weapon or lay down traps to catch them off-guard, making Jacob a valuable asset to the team.

Last, but certainly not least is Izzy, whose trailer has been posted by GamesHQMedia. Izzy is the equivalent of a mage thanks to her support abilities and ranged skills. She's a master hacker with a high intellect, which is something that all mages need! Izzy's also got the ability to lift enemies out of cover and can launch Med Beacons to heal her teammates, making her perhaps the most important part of Overstrike 9. Also, she's a redhead. And redheads are cool.

Watch the trailers below and let us know what you think of the game and its characters. Fuse should be launching this month on the Xbox 360 and  PlayStation 3, but no specific date has been set.

By the way, some of the language and images are a little NSFW, so viewer discretion is advised.
