There comes a time for every single character of every single movie, video game, television show, sport, galactic council, and trading card series when it must succumb to the Pop transformation. This September, that time comes for Batman: Arkham Knight, the latest and final game in Rocksteady Studios' Batman: Arkham trilogy.

The reveal comes courtesy of IGN, which debuted the four figures in the upcoming line exclusively this week. Previously, Funko released figures based on the Batman: Arkham Asylum incarnations of Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Killer Croc, but hasn't touched either Arkham City or Arkham Origins as of yet. That's okay though, as the most recent Batman game will likely draw more water from fans.

The Arkham Knight line will consist of the game's three most central characters, Batman, Arkham Knight and Scarecrow, as well as Harley Quinn, who is here because she is Harley Quinn. She's apparently pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty popular with the kids these days. Can't go into a Hot Topic without seeing her face plastered over almost everything. Considering how many Funko Pops you can find in a Hot Topic, I guess that decision makes sense.

The figures themselves are decent looking, with Batman and Harley Quinn looking fairly on point. Scarecrow's menacing demeanor just looks weird all cutesy, even with his shark's eyes. Like many of the helmeted characters Funko's given the Pop treatment, the Arkham Knight looks the most out of place. Adding the eyes, which are a signature part of the Pop style, takes a bit away from the character's design aesthetic. While there are surely going to be plenty of people who have no qualms with how weird it is to have eyes on the outside of the helmet, that kind of thing doesn't work for me.

Each of the figures will retail for $10.99 when they arrive.
