Leisure Suit Larry was one of our favorite PC games, and publisher Replay Games recently announced that they've got a new adventure game coming in January called Fester Mudd: The Curse of the Gold.

IGN first broke the story from Replay Games, who said that Fester Mudd is "a throwback to the old school adventure games that dominated gaming in the '80s and '90s," and has "a western theme and strong comedic elements."

Replay also announced that the former director of game design at Sega, Josh Mandel, has been named their chief creative officer. He has designed, written or produced more than 40 games for various development companies. Mandel had this to say about his new job:

“This is a priceless opportunity for me both personally and professionally. On a personal level, it allows me to be creative with people I’ve come to know and love over the course of the past 25 years. On a professional level, it puts me in a place where I can create the kinds of humorous, literate games that engendered the original market for computer games, and bring them to a whole new generation of gamers.”

Fester Mudd: The Curse of the Gold is coming out for iOS, Android, Mac and PC but no date has been announced. Check out some screenshots below.
