Depending on the success Brutal Legend finds on PC, Double Fine's Tim Scafer said the developer may pursue new content on that platform.

In an interview with Rock, Paper, Shotgun, Tim Schafer talked a bit about what that new content would be, and how much he'd like to add it to Brutal Legend.

“I would love to [add more to Brutal Legend on PC],” Schafer said. “It’s actually been fun to continue work on it. I mean, we have a wishlist from when we made this version. But since we are a small developer publishing it ourselves, we have to go with the best version we can make and then hope it’s successful so we can add more.”

Unfortunately, that wishlist is limited to multiplayer content, but that doesn't mean there wouldn't be some good stuff potentially added in. "I’d like to bring in Lionwhyte as a playable faction," Schafer expanded. "I’d like to bring in [another faction that was originally meant to be part of Brutal Legend's story]. There are some tweaks I’d like to do to give you more feedback about what your units are doing.”

Scafer also hopes to one day continue the Brutal Legend story with a sequel, but that project would be well after the current Double Fine Adventure finished, as well as the possible Psychonauts sequel.
