Dead or Alive’s Ayane Playable in Fatal Frame on Wii U
Our favorite purple-haired ninja of the Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden series, Ayane, will be a playable character in Fatal Frame V: The Black-Haired Shrine Maiden.
Siliconera reports that Famitsu magazine has revealed Dead or Alive's Ayane will be a playable in this Wii U-exclusive horror game. The purple kunoichi will be playable after beating the game's main campaign. After unlocking her, you can play through a special bonus mission where you go find a missing girl in the ghost-filled areas of Fatal Frame V.
Ayane won't have the phantasm-sealing Camera Obscura at her disposal, so she has to sneak around and use stealth to avoid the malevolent spirits of Fatal Frame. Think Metal Gear Solid, but instead of genetically-enhanced soldiers, they're evil spirits who are stuck between the afterlife and the corporeal world. Luckily, Ayane has her own tricks for avoiding these ghastly apparitions.
Ghostbustin' gets busty as Fatal Frame V: The Black-Haired Shrine Maiden will launch on Sept. 27 for Wii U. Unfortunately, it remains exclusive to Japan, neither Koei Tecmo nor Nintendo have hinted towards any kind of western release for this anticipated sequel.
A well-endowed girl thrown into a horrific survival horror situation? Never seen that before...
