The talented voice actor who brought Ellie to life in The Last of Us is joining the roster of Telltale Games' Tales from the Borderlands.

Destructoid reports that actress Ashley Johnson is signed on to play an pivotal member of the cast from Tales from the Borderlands. Telltale Games' community and PR specialist Laura Perusco helped hype up Johnson's addition to the roster, citing that she'll be playing a core character to the third episode and beyond. She also mentions that Johnson stole the show. We shouldn't be surprised, despite how much voice acting talent the Borderlands series and Telltale Games' adventure titles usually have.

Ashley Johnson is becoming quite the experienced actress throughout her numerous roles in the movie, TV and video game industries. Asides from her spectacular portrayal of Ellie in The Last of Us, you might recognize Ashley Johnson as the waitress who was saved by Captain America in The Avengers (she had a bigger role in the deleted scenes). She voices Gwen Tennyson throughout the Ben 10 series, as well as Terra in Teen Titans. She also starred as Mel Gibson's daughter in What Women Want. In terms of gaming, you might also recognize Ashley as Jenny from inFamous: First Light.

While a release date for Tales from the Borderlands: Episode 3 has not been announced, its previous episode, Atlas Mugged, debuted on March 17. You can expect the third episode to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, iOS and Android.
