Arcade Spotlight: Pinballz Arcade in Austin, TX

Austin, TX. is known for its hip restaurants, cool shopping areas and the popular SXSW film and music festival. But did you know it's also known for its awesome arcade? This week's Arcade Spotlight shines a light on one of the many great treasures to be found in Austin -- Pinballz Arcade.

Pinballz Arcade has some of the greatest pinball and video game action in the country. Seriously, this arcade is no joke. With over 13,000 square feet at their disposal, they have more arcade games and pins in one place than five arcades put together.

Pinballz has over 100 pinball machines. That's right. Over 100. Don't believe me? Check out the list of pins they have. You can spend all day there just playing pinball. And let's not forget their enormous collection of arcade games. They also have a ton of ticket redemption games and other games for you to blow your paycheck on.

All of their machines are available to purchase, but they're priced at an insane mark up. Not sure anyone is going to plunk down $2,500 for a $500 Centipede game or $15k for a Medieval Madness unless it comes with your own wench and horse. But hey, it's nice to know that they're at least available if you have the cash.
