Angry Birds Toons Takes Flight This Weekend

If you missed any of the Angry Birds Toons news from last week, Rovio's got a brand new cartoon series featuring all of their Angry Birds characters. And it premieres this weekend. The Angry Birds brand train rolls on!

Be sure to update your Angry Birds apps, because in addition to watching on TV, you will be able to check out the cartoons through your app as well through a new in-game channel button.

We don't know about you, but we're ready to see some backstory for these characters. It will be fun to see if Rovio can pull off injecting some real personality into these foul fowls. From the looks of the trailer, it appears that they're already on their way. We think we're gonna end up liking the crazy Blue Birds the best.
