The criminal underworld of Yakuza 5 is going to have all of its Japanese, post-launch bonus content when it debuts in the West.

Pre-orders have begun for Yakuza 5, and Sega is preparing for its stateside release. To celebrate, we've gotten the third and final portion of a special interview with General Director Toshihiro Nagoshi and Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama (featured below). Furthermore, Sega currently has the game's pre-orders at a 15 percent discount off of its $39.99 launch price. Pre-orders also get a free Yakuza 5 theme for the PlayStation 3 to boot.

The PlayStation Blog revealed that the Western release of Yakuza 5 is going to include the game's downloadable content for free. Originally released in Japan three years ago, we're glad that Yakuza 5 is finally making its Western debut. We just hope that Yakuza 0 gets a Western launch on PlayStation 4 sometime in the future. Yakuza 5 stars five interconnected protagonists connected to Japan's seedy criminal underworld. You can expect a variety of mini-games, including karaoke. The localized version of the game will also include "Another Drama," which is a set of side stories pertaining to the five protagonists.

The game primarily focuses on Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of Yakuza 4, who has retired from the underworld life and went legit as a cab driver. Of course, the ceasefire between the crime families of Japan won't last long, and Kiryu will be pulled back into the world he tried to abandon.

While no release date has been set, Yakuza 5 will launch sometime later this year for PlayStation 3.
