The imaginative mastermind known for Katamari Damacy, Keita Takahashi, is back with a trailer for his new game, Wattam.

This debut trailer for Wattam proves that it will follow the bizarre footsteps of  Keita Takahashi's work done with Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby Boy. Wattam is a world filled with blocky people, much akin to Takahashi's usual style. While the trailer doesn't really show us much, it does feature a square-shaped person that is getting ready to head out into the world. Apparently, this is the Mayor of Wattam. Takahashi claims that he was inspired to make this game while playing with his two-year-old son while he had his action figures out. He wondered what it would be like if all of his son's toys were alive and their worlds were all connected. We're not sure how he got to this trailer through that mindset, but we're glad to see him inspired.

While no launch window is in sight, we'll provide additional coverage on Wattam once more info is available.
