Listen to CD Projekt Red's crew talk about the crazy details and gorgeous sights for Geralt to see in this developer diary for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

CD Projekt Red has made a video featuring its main staff members speaking about the elaborate details that have gone into making the world of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Much like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you can see landmarks from miles away and will be able to walk up to and explore them. There is also a capital city that holds nearly 2,000 residents, each with their own personal schedule of activities. Each of the townsfolk responds differently to Geralt -- if he pulls out his sword with citizens around, some will run, some will yell at him and the guards might try and stop you.

In terms of travelling, you'll be able to summon your horse almost anytime outdoors. You will also be able to use a boat to take shortcuts to where you've got to go, and there will also be underwater sections as well. Be careful when travelling at night, because many of the stronger monsters and more devious creatures of the land only walk the world when the sun's down.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches on Feb. 24 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
